Description

This project aims to be a small planner software for harnesses.

This is because even if some very mature products exist (see for example Rapid Harness), I found them being pretty cumbersome for smaller projects.

The interface is still quite rough on the edges, as it can be seen from this screenshot, but it already supports some cool features.

Features

This is a list of features that is already (possibly partially) supported.

• Auto calculation of wiring sections
• Auto calculation of joints CMA
• Export of wires sizes and length CSV
• Export of joints BOM CSV
• Save/Load system, with custom names
• Custom nodes with images (for now, it is just available from the editor)
• Account for both battery and alternator currents at the same time
• Custom colors for wires
• Subnodes (or subsystems)

Closeup view

This view provides a small insight of the displaying capabilities currently available.

It is possible to see, in fact, both the power carrying conductor sizes (AWG) and splices sizes (CMA) are shown here, together with some basic signal routing information (the number of signal carrying conductors).

An insight into the future is provided by the ECU node, where a picture is provided, but for the time being it is not possible to create a custom node with its image from inside the program.
